Timeline of Daily Activities

Timeline of Daily Activities

Throughout our steps to recovery in Florida, days are structured so that individuals can remain focused on their recovery journey at all times. While scheduling may differ each day, an example of the average day for patients in rehab may include a routine such as the one outlined below.

8:30am – Rise & Shine

This time is for your personal morning routine – grab a cup of tea, tidy your space and get ready for the day. “Early to bed, early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise.” – Benjamin Franklin

9:00am – Morning Meditation

Meditation is an opportunity for contemplation, reflection, and mindfulness. We assist patients to set and achieve meditation goals and inspire them to adopt post-rehab meditation practices as part of a new healthy and vibrant lifestyle.

10:00am – Therapy Groups at Simple Path Recovery

Now is time to break out into groups with fellow Simple Path patients and develop healthy friendships. Patients use this time to combat loneliness, gain confidence, and find peace in sobriety.

1:30pm – Recreational Activities

During treatment we encourage our patients to carry on with recreational activities post-rehab. Take advantage of all the amenities at our South Florida drug rehab including our basketball courts, beach access, and more.

2:30pm – Job Search & Fitness

Every other day, this time will be dedicated to focusing on your job search and your health. We want to help you achieve your professional and personal fitness goals. Physical fitness is known to diminish cravings, relieve depression and prevent you from relapse.

5:00pm – Dinner Time & House Meeting

Enjoy group meals including weekly house dinners and monthly celebration BBQs. Proper nutrition is a vital part of healthy rehabilitation and helps in managing withdrawal symptoms and restoring physical health.

7:00pm – 12-Step Meeting

Our 12-step program guides patients while they are in recovery and helps them develop a support system that they can rely on during post-rehabilitation.

10:00pm – Curfew

After a full day at Simple Path Recovery, this is your time to unwind and relax before bed.
